crow butteCrow Butte Park

Crow Butte island is situated in the majestic Columbia River. The 275 acre park is on the island and accessible by motor and river traffic. There are 50 full service camping spots, two boat launches and a boat basin. Crow Butte Park is located 11 miles west of Paterson, WA on Highway 14. The park is open: March 15th – October 15th from dawn until dusk.  Check in time is 2:30 pm...Check out: 1:00 pm.  For more information click here.

This 4.49-acre park is located at Seventh Street, Memorial and Sommers Streets. Facilities in the park include a covered picnic pavilion, shaded picnic areas, lighted outdoor stage, playground equipment, open play area, restrooms, two concession buildings with food preparation and service facilities.


E.J. Miller Park

This 6.05-acre park is located at Park Avenue and Kinney Way and contains the City municipal outdoor 36-meter swimming pool. The park also contains 3 outdoor lighted tennis courts, a lighted outdoor basketball court, playground equipment, covered picnic pavilion with sink and electrical outlets, open play areas, large grassy areas with numerous large trees, and restroom facilities.  Currently the City of Prosser is overseeing a year long pool renovation project.  For more information on the renovation click here.


Crawford Riverfront Park crawford_park

This 7.3-acre park is located along the Yakima River at Byron Road and contains a picnic shelter with electrical outlets and sink, barbecue areas, a soccer field, riverfront pathway, and restrooms.



 

Farrand Park

Named for the City’s founder, Colonel William Farrand Prosser, and at one time his homesite, this 2.04-acre park is located on Byron Road and Third Street, near Crawford Riverfront Park. A rock-mounted bronze plaque honoring Colonel Prosser can be seen at the park. There are restrooms, picnic facilities, barbecue areas, a large play area, shade trees and a public boat launch. The boat launch to the Yakima River is available for use at the base of Byron Road and Sheridan Avenue near the parking area of Crawford Riverfront Park There are no public dock facilities.


market_street_parkMarket Street Park

This 6.0-acre park is located along SR 22 and Market Street. The entrance to the park is off of Market Street and leads to a large parking area. There is a large, grassy area suitable for soccer, or other field games for youths. Currently there are no restroom facilities at the park, but portable units are occasionally placed there. Large trees offer shade for picnics.


falls parkGrant Street Park

This 0.26-acre park is located adjacent to the south end of the Grant Street Bridge and contains a small shelter, some picnic tables, and a pleasant view of the Yakima River and Prosser Dam. There are no restroom facilities available.



Rotary Pathway ParkProsser Rotary Pathway Park

This 0.12-acre park is located at the northwest corner of Wine Country Road and Nunn Road and contains a gazebo-style shelter with picnic table, drinking fountain, park bench, picnic table, flowering landscaping, parking, and concrete walkways. It is also the beginning of the paved Centennial Pathway that leads to the cities of Grandview and then to Sunnyside, WA. There are no facilities available at the park.




Other Locations

Sixth Street and Sherman Park

This 0.78-acre triangular grassy area is located at the junction of Sherman Avenue, Sixth Street, and Wine Country Road. This area is currently undergoing changes due to the reconstruction of Wine Country Road. There are no facilities available.

This facility, located at the corner of Seventh Street and Dudley Avenue, is currently the home of the Prosser Senior Citizens Organization. This facility is available to the public, on a rental basis, for special events and occasions. Contained within is a complete food preparation and service room , banquet hall, ADA compliant restrooms, and off street parking. For more information please call (509) 786-2915.

depot frontEric Barnard Depot Square

The grounds being maintained by the City of Prosser, this facility is located between Sixth and Seventh Streets, and along Bennett Avenue. It is within the downtown business district and affords ample parking, public restrooms, bench seating, and landscaped areas. The building itself, formerly the old train depot, houses the public restrooms, Prosser Chamber of Commerce, Prosser Wine & Food Fair office, and the Prosser Economic Development Association. City Swimming Pool

This 36-meter pool is located at the corner of Park Avenue and Kinney Way within E.J. Miller Park. Off street parking is available. In addition to open swimming, the pool and its facilities are available for special events and occasions on a rental basis.
