For the second year in a row Prosser achieved national recognition as one of America’s Promise Alliance’s 100 Best Communities for Young People presented by ING for its initiatives to help young people. The competition recognizes communities across the country that focus on reducing high school dropout rates and providing service and support to their youth. Once again Prosser has been named one of the nation’s 100 Best Communities for Young People by America’s Promise Alliance and ING. While pedestrian and bicycle access is encouraged there is plenty of vehicular access.

Our 30+ local wineries are the heart of Washington Wine Country. They welcome and encourage you to taste the results of the distinctive fruit grown in the Yakima Valley, Horse Heaven Hills and Columbia Valley American Viticultural Areas.
